BORGER NEWS HERALD - December 26, 1990
Irene Rangel, 58, Borger, died Monday, Dec. 24, 1990 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Iglesia Pentecostal Unida with the Rev. Josias Limones, pastor, officiating.
The body will lie in state at the church.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of Comez Palacios Durango, Mexico, she had been a Borger resident for nine years. She was a housewife and a member of Igelisa Pentecostal Unida.
Survivors include her husband, Juan Rangel of the home; her father, Bonifacio Martinez of Borger; five sons, Jose Rangel, Juan Rangel, Jr., Ruben Rangel, all of Borger; Luis Rangel of Juarez, Mexico; and David Rangel of El Paso; nine daughters, Modesta Ramirez of El Paso; Margarita Pichardo, Paula Verdier, Rose Delia Villezcaz , all of Borger; Amanda Banda of Juarez, Mexico; Alice Rangel, Guadelupe Sanez, Lucia Rangel and Cynthia Rangel, all of Borger; one sister, Arcela Guaderama of Redonda Beach, Calif.; 30 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
