Funeral services for Mark R. Rankin, 53, of 1313 Finger, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the First United Methodist Church of Fritch, with Rev. Virgil Taylor, pastor of Fritch Church of the Nazarene, officiating, assisted by Rev. Michael O'Connor, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Fritch.

Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors. Graveside rites will be under the auspices of the Billy Dixon Masonic Lodge 1396 of Fritch.

Mr. Rankin died Wednesday in North Plains Hospital.

He was a retired employee of Phillips Petroleum Co., Copolymer Plant, and was a World War II veteran. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and member of Billy Dixon Masonic Lodge 1369.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy; two sons, Ronnie of Borger and Rusty of Fritch; a sister, Mrs. Marie Jones of Borger; and two grandsons.

BORGER - Lucy Maine Rankin, 75, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jim Russell officiating.

Mrs. Rankin was born July 2, 1928, in Athens. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Rusty Rankin of Fritch and Red Rankin of Borger; three brothers, Kenneth Dosser of Lake Palestine, Sonny Dosser of Bonham and Albert Dosser of Athens; a sister, Lillian Phillips of Athens; and two grandsons.
