*Obituary
Sallie P. Reese, 91, of Borger, died Monday, Oct. 20, 1997 in St. Anthony's Hospice in Amarillo.

Graveside services were held today at Westlawn Memorial Park with Dr. Ken Sheppard, pastor of Faith Covenant Church, officiating.

Burial was in "The Garden of Beatitudes" in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of May, she had been a Borger resident since 1941, moving here from Oklahoma City, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of Fairlanes Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer W. "Jake" Reese, in 1967 and three grandsons.

Survivors include three sons, Phil Reese of Woodward, Okla., David Reese of Austin and John Paul Reese of Houston; a daughter, Maurine Aguilar of Borger; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
