FRITCH - Services for Darwell Vance Rice, 66, of 508 N. Cornell, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Fritch United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Michael O'Conner, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Rice, who died Thursday, was a native of Emerson, Iowa. He had lived in the Fritch area for 13 years.

A retired machinist, Mr. Rice was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Fritch United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie, one son, David Lee of Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Lundy of Norway; one brother, Lawrence of Fritch; one sister, Mrs. Beatrice Mart of Des Moines, Iowa; and two grandchildren.
