FRITCH - Lawrence E. Rice, 88, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1993 in Guymon, Okla.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church of Fritch with the Rev. Dan Fleming, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
A native of Hawthorne, Iowa, he had been a Fritch resident for 55 years. He was a retired Natural Gas Pipeline Plan Operator, and a member of First United Methodist Church in Fritch.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Bernice Rice in 1988.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Holly of Guymon, Okla.; and Shirley Meek of Spartenburg, S.C.; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Fritch or Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Nora Bernice Rice, 83, 401 N.W. Sheridan in Fritch died Tuesday in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
A homemaker, she was a native of Burkburnett and a Fritch resident since 1938.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Fritch and Fritch Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence of the home; two daughters, Beverly Holly of Guymon, Okla., Shirley Merk of Spartonburg, South Carolina; a sister, Hazel Carson of Omaha, Neb.; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church of Fritch, with Rev. Eddie Marcum, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
