Ernie W. Roark, 87, of Pampa, passed away, Saturday, May 4, 2013 in Pampa.
Ernie William Roark was born January 5, 1926 in New Haven, IL. to James Henry and Mamie Ellen (McGhee) Roark. He married Virginia Buttry on April 9, 1943 in Harrisburg, IL.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and wife Virginia.
Survivors include his wife Aleena Roark of Pampa, two sons: Ken and Carol Roark of Mineral Wells, and Denny and Donna Roark of Pampa, brother: Bill and Mary Roark of Alton. IL, four grandchildren: Debbie Richardson, Dave, Justin, Jason Roark, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the Fairlanes Baptist Church in Borger, TX with burial to follow at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery in Borger, TX.
Mr. Roark will lie in state at Brown Chapel Of The Fountains in Borger on Monday, May 6, 2013 from 8:00AM~8:00PM.
In Lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Fairlanes Baptist Church, 3000 Fairlanes Blvd., Borger, TX 79007 or American Cancer Society

BORGER - Virginia Roark, 78, died Friday, July 9, 2004, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fairlanes Baptist Church with the Rev. Chad Chaddick, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Roark was a cafeteria manager for 15 years with the Phillips School System. Mr. and Mrs. Roark were married on April 9, 1943, in Harrisburg, Ill.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Buttry, Hayward Buttry and Everett Buttry; and two sisters, Lola Smith and Edna Ford.
Survivors include her husband, Ernie; two sons, Kenneth Roark of Snyder and Dennis Roark of Pampa; two brothers, Ernest Buttry and Kenneth Buttry, both of Norris City, Ill.; a sister, Beulah Blackwell of Springdale, Ark.; four grandchildren, Debbie Richardson and husband, Dale, Dave Roark, Justin Roark and wife, Summer, and Jason Roark and wife, Kelleen; and four great-grandchildren, Gary Richardson and wife, Xuyen, Becky Richardson, Taylor Roark and Hannah Roark.
