BORGER - Leonard Schwind, 70, died Tuesday, May 17, 2005.
Prayer vigil will be at 6 p.m. Sunday in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. John's Catholic Church with Monsignor Norbert Kuehler officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Schwind was born May 21, 1934, in Breckenridge. He was a retired project manager in the engineering department for J.M. Huber Corp.
Survivors include a son, Robert Schwind of Sanger; three daughters, Mary Pearl of Waynesboro, Pa., Rebecca Parker of Wichita Falls and Cecilia Schwind of Panhandle; four sisters, Julie Vecera of Crowley, Catherine Meyer of Fort Worth, Patricia Rose of Austin and Marian Stillman of Atlanta; three brothers, Joseph Schwind of Amarillo, Edward Schwind of Burleson and Francis Schwind of Fort Worth; and nine grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Santa Maria Convent, P.O. Box 906, Panhandle, TX 79068.
