GLADYS WOOD
Services for Gladys Wood were held Friday, March 25, 1988 at the First Baptist Church. Rev. Steve McMeans officiated.
Burial was in the Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Justice-Mason Funeral Home.
She died at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 1988 in Lubbock's Lutheran Home of West Texas after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Bosque County and moved to Garza County in 1905. She married W.L. "Dick" Wood on May 3, 1917, in Post. He died in 1971. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a Baptist. A Daughter, Mary Frances Justice , died in 1981.
Survivors include four sons, W.L. Jr.
of Satlellite Beach, Fla., Charles W. and Bobby Dean , both of Lubock and Harry E. of Odessa; a sister Zula George of Alexandria, La; 10 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
