BORGER - Wilbur "Clown" Smith, 83, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Terry Porter officiating and Michael Pigg assisting. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.

Mr. Smith was born Nov. 24, 1926. He married Jerri "Mimi" McElroy Smith on May 29, 1952, in Clovis, N.M. Survivors include a son, Chris Smith of Borger; two daughters, Malissa Smith and Randi Smith, both of Borger; a brother, David Cochran of Winnsboro; two sisters, Lou Bailey of Amarillo and Bobby Lee of Tyler; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

BORGER - Jerri "Mimi" Smith, 79, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Terry Porter officiating and Michael Pigg assisting. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Smith was born Jan. 23, 1928, in Ola, Ark., to Earl and Azel Mary Barnes McElroy. On May 29, 1952, she married her husband, Wilbur Smith, in Clovis, N.M.

Jerri was a nurse who enjoyed craft arts with clothing. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Chris Smith of Amarillo; two daughters, Malissa Box and Randi Smith, both of Borger; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
