Jessie Maybelle Smith

BORGER - Jessie Maybelle Smith, 87, died Tuesday, April 4, 2000.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Church of God with the Rev. Jonathan Back, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith was born in Marble City, Okla., and had lived in Borger 50 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.

She married Maniard Wilson Smith in 1932 at Stillwell, Okla. She was preceded in death by a son, Woodrow Wilson Smith, in 1943.

Survivors include her husband; six sons, Johnny Smith, Jerry Smith, Carl Smith and Don Smith, all of Borger, Luther Smith of Bowie and Bobby Smith of Guymon, Okla.; four daughters, Etta Mae West and Pauline Farmer, both of Borger, Edith Barker of Tunnel Hill, Ga., and Helen Wiggin of Guymon; four brothers, Felix Cole of Broken Arrow, Okla., Dewey Cole of Wichita Falls and Edward Cole and Wilbur Cole, both of Borger; 36 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
