*Obituary

Rotan - Funeral for Mrs. Roy Donham, 51, lifelong resident of Fisher County, was to be held at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church in Roby.

The Rev. C. A. Sanders, pastor of Roby West Side Baptist Church, was to officiate, assisted by the Rev. Orvel Brantley, pastor of Roby First Baptist Church. Burial was to be in Roby Cemetery under direction of Weathersbee Funeral Home of Rotan.

Mrs. Donham died in Hendrick Memorial Hospital in Abilene at 10 p.m. Saturday after an illness of several weeks.

Born Essie Mae Wilson on June 26, 1917 in Roby, she married Roy Donham on Sept. 10, 1936 there. A licensed vocational nurse, she was employed at Simmons Memorial Hospital until becoming ill in February. She was a member of West Side Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Mrs. J. R. Pope of Houston, Mrs. Tommy J. Stuart of Roby, Mrs. John Cleveland of Ozona, Miss Marla Donham of Houston and Sue of the home; a son, J. Donham of Fort Worth; her mother, Mrs. H. E. Wilson of Roby; three brothers, Elko Wilson of Enid, Okla., the Rev. Thomas Lynn Wilson of Hartley, and the Rev. Billy M. Wilson of Hendley; two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Carmichael of Portales, N.M., and Mrs. Buster Palmer of Roby; and nine grandchildren.
