MRS. KIKER DIES AT 61; RITES TODAY
Roby - Mrs. B. F. Kiker, 61, died in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Ashley in Roby at 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the First Methodist Church here with the Rev. R. H. Meixner, pastor, and the Rev. E. L. Yeals, retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in the Roby Cemetery under direction of Weathersbee Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kiker was the former Tressie Curilla Lassiter and was born July 12, 1906 in Alabama. Her parents were the late Dr. and Mrs. Jimmy Lassiter. She married B. F. Kiker in DeLeon in 1933, and they came to Fisher County that same year.
Mr. Kiker died April 29, 1954 at Roby.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Russell Trice of Hobbs, N.M.; two sons, Franklin of Roby and Jimmy of Snyder; five step-sons, Bennie Wayne Kiker of Odessa, John, H. E. and H. A., all of Roby, and D. P. of Refugio; one step-daughter, Mrs. W. B. Crow of Odessa; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Pete Driver, John Palmer, John Stewart, Delmer Burk, Murry Simmons and Jackie Holcomb.
