AMARILLO - J.W. Snider, 64, died Monday, Oct. 25, 1993 in Northwest Texas Hospital.
Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of Erick, Okla., he had been a Borger resident for 60 years. He was an operator in Oil and gas. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Borger.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Smith Snider of Amarillo; two sons, Danny Snider of Little Rock, Ark.; and Tommy Snider of Borger; two daughters, Susan Spangler of Borger; and Fran Greenhouse of Amarillo; his mother, Esther Snider of Amarillo; four brothers, Lonnie Snider of Fritch; Gary Lynn Snider of Amarillo; Billy Joe Snider of Decatur; and Windred Snider of South Texas, and nine grandchildren.

Gloria Jean Snider, 64, Borger, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 1994 in her home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Sheppard, pastor of Faith Covenant Church, and the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor of First Baptist, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of Pampa, she had been a Borger resident for 62 years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Genealogy Society, and past member of Beta Sigma Phi.
She married J.W. Snider on Aug. 28, 1947 in Phillips. He preceded her in death in 1993.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Snider of Little Rock, Ark.; and Tommy Snider of Borger; two daughters, Susan Spangler of Borger; and Fran Greenhouse of Amarillo; her mother, Virginia Smith of Amarillo; two brothers, Don Smith of Lincoln, Neb.; and James Smith of Alice; and nine grandchildren.
