DENTON - June Spector, 74, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Midway Baptist Church in Aubrey with John Theisen officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Westlawn Cemetery in Borger with Tyler Bridge officiating. Arrangements are by Slay Memorial Funeral Center of Aubrey.
Mrs. Spector was born Jan. 1, 1935, in Durant, Okla., to Cecil and Margaret L. Keener Stamps. She married David Spector on Feb. 25, 1956, in Borger. She earned her master's degree in education and was a teacher for Phillips and Borger independent school districts.
She was eagerly awaiting the birth of her first great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Zoe Ann Spector.
Survivors include her husband, David; a son, David Spector III and wife Janet of Denton; two daughters, Stacie Cates and husband Scott of Krum and Debra Minter and husband Seth of Pilot Point; two sisters, Jean Carlile of Whitehouse and Capy Alexander of Kerrville; and six grandchildren.
