John Oliver Robinson, 89, of Stafford, formerly of Alvin, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2003, in Stafford, Texas. John was born November 25, 1913, in Talledegra, Alabama, to Oliver E. and Olyer Lee (Stapp) Robinson. John was an Alvin resident for 6 years moving from Galveston County and was a member of South Park Baptist Church, member of Alvin Masonic Lodge No. 762 A.F.&A.M. & Pipefitters Local No. 211. John loved camping, hunting and riding his motorcylce and was an avid handyman.

John was preceded in death by wife and children's mother,
Theresa in 1971.

Survivors are his sons, Joe Robinson and wife Karen of Sugarland, Texas, and John Robinson and wife Donna of Conroe, Texas; grandchildren, Kelly Lucas of Sugarland, Texas, Colleen Robinson of Austin, Texas, and Matthew Robinson of Conroe, Texas; great-grandson, Gage Lucas of
Sugarland, Texas.

Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April
9 at Oak Park Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be 1.0 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at Oak Park Funeral
Home Chapel with Dr. Bruce Peterson officiating.
Entombment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Santa Fe, Texas.
