LA MARQUE - Elton Robinson a longtime resident of LaMarque passed away Friday, October 27, 2006, at Bay Oaks Nursing Home in Texas City, Texas, after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Robinson was originally from Alexandria, Louisiana and later moved to Texas where he and his family made their home in Galveston County. He retired as a welder from Todd Shipyards.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, November 4, 2006, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Carnes Funeral Home with services following at 1:00 p.m., being officiated by the Rev. Richard A. Scott, Pastor of the Family Unity Baptist Church. Entombment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Alta Loma, Texas.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Della Robinson; daughter Diane (Johnson) St Mary and sons Raphael and Ricky Toussain Jr.; nephew, Murphy Lee Milbrun and children Murphy Jr. and Sequita Milburn; brothers Felton (Pam) Robinson Sr., Lloyd Edward (Patricia) Robinson Sr., Ernest (Sedonia) Robinson Sr. and Philip Robinson, sisters Savanna Greer and Rosemary Robinson.
Many thanks to everyone who has assisted our family in any way during this time of bereavement. Special thanks to our friends from Galveston, Rev. Richard Scott and Dorthea Jones and Carnes Funeral Home.

Mrs. Della Mae Milburn Robinson, 91, of La Marque, TX passed away peacefully February 23, 2016. She and her family were longtime residents of Galveston County. She was a loving person and a faithful member of Hunter Chapel CME Church.
Mrs. Della is preceded in death by her husband, Elton Milburn; parents, Curley Milburn and Alma Rodgers Milburn; siblings and a daughter Diane Robinson.
Mrs. Della is survived by her son, Murphy Lee Milburn, Sr.; grandchildren, Raphael and Rickey Toussain, Murphy Milburn, Jr.; siblings, Lloyd Milburn and Henry Milburn and many other relatives and friends.
A Public Viewing will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 10:00 AM followed by Funeral Services at 11:00 AM. Both services will be held at Hunter Chapel CME Church 6320 Carver St Texas City, TX 77591. Mrs. Robinson will be Entombed at Grace Memorial Cemetery, Hitchcock, TX.
