Mrs. Pearl Masters, age 98, of Snyder, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Snyder Healthcare Center in Snyder after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at the 37th Street Church of Christ in Snyder with Mister Dale Huff officiating.
Pearl was born on November 24, 1909 in Fisher County Texas. She married Alonzo Lewis Masters on May 24, 1930 in Roby, Texas. He passed away on September 4, 1967.
She moved to Snyder from the Hobbs Community in Fisher County in 1980. She was a member of the 37th Street Church of Christ. She had operated a Beauty Shop in her home near the Hobbs Community for many years.
Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Mary Ann Masters of Snyder, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, William A. and Irene Masters of Snyder, Texas; and daughter and son-in-law, Glenna and Lee Box of San Angelo, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Thomas Lewis of Magnolia, Texas, Kristi Masters of Fredricksberg, Texas, Glenn Lee Box of Austin, Texas, Melinda Maninger of Ft. Worth, Texas and Charolette Clifton of Snyder, Texas; and 7 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Terry Lewis (1991) and 6 brothers and 6 sisters.
