*Obituary
An investigation into the death of an elderly woman, believed to have died of a gunshot wound, was continuing late today by the Hutchinson County Sheriff's department.
The victim, Mrs. Mildred Sussdorf, was found about 10 a.m. behind her home some two miles north of Borger by her husband, C.L. Sussdorf, who immediately notified authorities.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by Hutchinson County Justice of the Peace Sam Watson, of Borger.
The couple lived in an apartment behind the Boxcar Liquor Store near the Canadian River Texas Highway 136.
Officers said a small caliber automatic pistol was found near the body.
The investigation was being headed by Chief Deputy C.A. Haren, who was assisted by Deputies Calvin Carpenter and Jack Peoples.
Also at the scene were Department of Public Safety officers, Sgt. Charles Henderson and Bill Lusk.
The body was taken to Minton Mortuary, where funeral arrangements are to be continued.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Sussdorf, 52, Borger, are set for 3 p.m. Monday in the Minton Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Sussdorf died Friday at her home. Ron Lowe of the First Christian Church of Borger will be officiating the services.
Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
Survivors include her husband, C.L. Sussdorf, of the home; two sons, Daryl Sussdorf of Woodland, Calif., and LeAlan of Augusta, Ga.; her mother, Mrs. Ida Barlow of Borger; one brother, Bobby Barlow, also of Borger, and one granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be L.H. Bailey, Buster Schott, Jack Johnson, Jr., J.C. Cotner, Billy Moreland and Buck Christian.
