TULIA - Bernice Imo Tarver, 90, died Wednesday, July 1, 1992 in Tulia Care Center.

Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Indiana Territory, Oklahoma, she moved to Borger in 1927. She was a retired school teacher. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Tarver in 1980.

Survivors include a son Don Tarver of Austin; two daughters, Mrs. Robert "Pat" Wilson of Tulia; and Mrs. Alberta Carter of Denver, Colo.; four sisters, Ora McCabe of Tempe, Ariz.; Jennell Comstock of Wichita, Kan.; Maryeve Barton of Tonkawa, Okla.; and Jo Park of Porter; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
