FINAL RITES HELD FOR THELMA WEEMS
Thelma Weems, 79, died at her home 10 miles SW of Rotan Thursday night.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Weathersbee Chapel with Rev. Robert Rowland of Dallas officiating.
Burial was in the Hobbs Cemetery under the direction of Weathersbee Funeral Home.
Mrs. Weems was born Apr 8, 1905, in Horatio,
AK. and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.Louis S. Morris. She moved to Fisher County in 1924 from AK. She married Floyd Weems in Roby Aug. 2, 1925.
Mrs. Weems was a Methodist.
Survivors include her husband of Rotan; a daughter Wanda Carney, Hobbs, NM; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Odessa Ware July 5, 1983.
