BORGER - Maria Terrazas, 60, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, in Amarillo.
Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. today in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. John's Catholic Church in Borger with Monsignor Michael Calwell as celebrant. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Cemetery.
Maria was born June 16, 1948, in Zacatecas, Mexico, to Eluterio and Refugia Fernandez. She married Jose Terrazas in July 1971 in Chicago.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Ascencion Fernandez Jr. of Borger; three daughters, Maricela Henriquez and Elizabeth Barnett, both of Borger, and Maria Magana of Lovington, N.M.; four brothers, Jose Fernandez of Borger and Nicholas Fernandez, Alberto Fernandez and Amador Fernandez, all of Juarez, Mexico; and nine grandchildren.
