*Obituary
Ruby Juanita Vaughan, 83, of Amarillo died Sunday, March 8, 2009.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Westlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Robert Hensley, pastor of Bunavista Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Vaughan was born Jan. 4, 1926, in Wetumka, Okla. She was a lab tech supervisor for Phillips Copolymer Plant, retiring in 1984.
Survivors include a brother, Ernest Burkes Jr. of Borger; a sister, Mildred Smith of Wetumka; a grandson; and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79174.
