Charles O. Walling, 86, Borger, died Friday, Dec. 30, 1994 in Hansford Manor Care Center in Spearman.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Andy Dietz, associate pastor, and the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor at First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Temple, Okla., he had been a Borger resident for 25 years. He was employed as an instrument man for Gulf Oil Company for 25 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a 60 year member of the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Marion; a son, Charles "Chip" Walling of Midland; a daughter, Ellen Fried of Dover, Del.; three stepchildren; a brother, James Walling of Orange, Calif.; a sister, Martha Alexander of Shreveport, La.; four grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.

Marion K. Walling, 81, Borger, died Friday, Jan. 13, in her home.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Andy Dietz, officiating.

Burial will be by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Walling was born in Sanger, and had been a longtime resident of Borger. She was a school teacher with the Borger Independent School District for 25 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

She was a graduate of Texas Woman's University in Denton, and a member of Texas State Teachers Association, Classroom Teachers Association, State and Local Teachers Association, Hutchinson County Retired Teachers Association, past member of Music Club, 20th Century Club, and Conamour Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles O. Walling on Dec. 30, 1994.

Survivors include a son, Larry Riggins of California; two daughters, Diana Calvin of Beaumont; and Jennie Tuschman of Houston; a brother, Andy Wilson of Sanger; a sister, Cliff McClure of Richardson; and four grandchildren.
