TRENTON—Rev. Torey T. Wilson, 46, went home to be with the Lord on January 29, 2018, at his residence in Lawrence Township, NJ.
Torey was born May 16, 1971, in Galveston, TX, where he also received his education and graduating in 1989 from Ball High School.
He also was the class president. He later received his Bachelors degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, and his Masters degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education and at the time of his untimely death Torey was employed at Princeton University and was pursing his doctorate degree from Pennsylvania University.
He leaves behind to mourn and cherish memories, his mother, Sandra Wilson; his father, Lonnie Colton; one brother, Korey Wilson; five sisters, Gail, Jeanna, Melissa, Danielle and Lonnetta; grandmother, Laura Wilson; uncles, Michael Wilson, Sr., Anthony Wilson (Gayla), Gerald Wilson (Yolanda), and Kevin Wilson; aunts: Paulette Reed (David), Karen James, Cynthia Johnson (Ellis), Sybil Wilson, Michelle Toussant (Reginald) and Pamela Morrow (Reginald) and a host of other relatives, friends, co-workers, students, and church family.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018, followed by a service celebrating his life at 11:00 a.m. at the historic Avenue L Baptist Church.
Entombment will follow in the Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum.
