Virginia Wilson went to her eternal home on September 4, 2014. Virginia was born February 21, 1922 in Cleburne, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father Luther Knight, her mother Ruby Romans, brother Buell Knight, husband Lynn Wilson and son Daniel Paul Wilson.
She is survived by her daughter Shari and two grandchildren Shane Wilson and Shauna Wilson.
Virginia was a member of Highlands Baptist Church for over 20 years. She had many friends at Highlands and called it “her family”. Virginia worked alongside her husband Brother Lynn in several churches in Texas and in Oklahoma.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 10:00 am – 12:00 Noon at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. A Graveside Service will be held at Grace Memorial Park on Saturday, September 13, 2014

Reverend Patrick Lynn Wilson, a Southern Baptist preacher, went to be with his Savior Wednesday May 5, 2010. Rev Lynn was born July 16,1921 in Granger, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother Reathie and father Floyd, sisters Cassie Nell Croughen, La Juana Zucknick, and Nita Joy Hankey.
He graduated from Granger High School and Corpus Christie Baptist College. Lynn served in the Navy during WWII from 1941-1945. It was while serving in the armed forces that he met and married his wife of 66 years, Virginia. After serving his term in the Navy he attended theological seminary in Fort Worth, Texas and went on to pastor churches in Oklahoma and Texas. After retiring from UTMB in Galveston, he volunteered as a hospice chaplain before moving to Lewisville, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Virginia, son Dan and wife Debbie Wilson, daughter Shari Wilson, and sisters Faye Neathery, La Gwen Fedor, and Vera Rost. He has two grandchildren, Shane and Shauna.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 9, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM the Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque, TX. Funeral services will be held Monday May 10th at 2pm at the Highlands Baptist Church in La Marque with Brother Leo Smith officiating and interment to follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, TX.
