*Obituary
Mrs. Paris Perser, 50, died at All Saints Hospital, Fort Worth, at 6:35 p.m. Monday. The former Crosbyton resident had been ill for some time.
Final rites were held in First Baptist Church here at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Melvin Ratheal, pastor of the Trinity Baptist Church, Lubbock, assisted by Rev. Wayland Boyd, officiated.
Bennie Smith Perser was born in Crosbyton and resided here until moving to Fort Worth in 1948. Her husband is a building contractor.
Survivors include her husband, Fort Worth; a daughter, Mrs. Ted West, Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Homer Smith, Crosbyton; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Smith, Crosbyton; and a grandchild.
Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery. King Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
