Services for Naomi Adams, 90, of Ralls will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Ralls First Baptist Church with Rev. Floyd Haddock officiating. Private family burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Naomi passed away on June 24, 2010 at Vista Care Center in Lubbock.
She was born September 11, 1919 in Aubrey, Denton County, Texas to the late T. H. and Abigail (Ford) Wilson. On December 28, 1937 she married Jimmie Adams in Ralls. He preceded her in death on February 23, 2010.
Naomi was a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 35 years. Naomi was also a member and past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star #169, past president of the PTA and Charter member and past president of the Ralls Band Booster Club.
She is preceded in death by a son, Neil Adams who died in June of 1981 and a sister, Fern McCorkle.
Survivors include; a son and his wife, Kenny and Barbara Adams of Ralls; a sister, Gwynn Ward of Lubbock; four grandchildren, Janet Thornton, Layne Adams, Devin Adams, Steven Adams and 11 great grandchildren.
