FRITCH - Billy Emmett Winters, 79, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2001.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Adams, from Tennessee, officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Love at Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Mr. Winters was born in Stephenville and had been a Fritch resident since 1952 and an area resident since 1926. He was director of purchasing for Phillips Petroleum Co. and served in the Army during World War II in the 45th and 103rd divisions in the European Theater. He attended Tarleton State College, was a Boy Scout leader and was a member of First Baptist Church in Phillips.
Survivors include four sons, Gary Winters of Howardwick, John Winters of Jolon, Calif., and Billy D. Winters and Calvin Winters, both of Fritch; a daughter, Nancy Bruce of Fritch; a brother, Willis Winters of Odessa; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

FRITCH - Audrey Winters, 66, died Friday, Oct. 5, 1990, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at First Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Fuller, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
A native of Clarendon, she had been a Fritch resident for the past 38 years. She was a housewife and attended school in Panhandle and Phillips. She was graduated from Phillips High School in 1942 and was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch.
She married Billy E. Winters on Nov. 7, 1942 at Lawton, Okla.
Survivors include her husband, Billy E. Winters of the home; four sons, Gary Winters of Clarendon, John Winters of Jolon, Calif., Billy D. Winters of Fritch and Calvin Winters of Plainview; a daughter, Nancy Bruce of Fritch; a brother, Jack Robertson of Glendale, Ariz.; four sisters Marguerite Cox of Bartlesville, Okla., Beulah Davis of Battle Mountain, Nev., Bobbie Henderson of Houston and Donna Barnard of Albuquerque, N.M., and 13 grandchildren.
