*Obituary
CROSBYTON (Special) — Services for Betty Alexander, 97, of Crosbyton will be at 10 a.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester B. Griffin, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Alexander died at 12;45 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary of the Plains Hospital in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Itasca and moved from New Mexico to Crosbyton in 1962. Her husband, John Edward Alexander, died in 1964. She had taught school in Taos, NM. and Des Moines, NM. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and First Baptist Church.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
