Obituary:
FOLLETT - Walter Clay Gadberry, 89, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 1997.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Follett School Auditorium with the Rev. Clay Wells and the Rev. Scott Richards officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton.

Mr. Gadberry was born in Catesby, Okla., and had been a longtime
resident of Follett. He married Edith Long in 1935. She died in 1968. He married Ruby Steinert in 1968.

He continued the family tradition of ranching and farming land settled in 1886 by his grandfather, Isaiah Gigger. He also had been an active pilot from 1946 until last year. He was a Mason and a member of United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, John Gadberry of Follett; two
stepsons, Kay Kunka of San Antonio and Gary Kunka of Follett; two
stepdaughters, Sherry Kunka of Amarillo and Fran Winn of Follett; a brother, Bob Gadberry of Follett; two sisters, Helen Keller of Follett and Dora Perry of Adrian; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The family requests memorials be to a favorite charity.
