*Obituary
Funeral services for Louise Pertain Banvard, 101, Borger, will be at 11 a.m. Sturday at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, with the Rev. William Houghton, rector, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Banvard died at 4 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 1990 in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., she had been a Borger resident since 1962. She was a bookkeeper for Texas Ice Co., in Beaumont.
Mrs. Banvard was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Episcopal Church Women. She graduated from Girls High School and the Wentworth Academy of Dramatic Art in Brooklyn. She performed professionally as a reader of dramatic literature before her marriage.
She married Edward G. Banvard May 26, 1914. He preceded her in death in 1942. She was also preceded in death by twin daughters.
Survivors include two sons; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Earl Hunter, Charles Johnson, Cecil White, Thomas Brooks, Ralph Pumphery, and Bill Wilkerson.
Memorials may be made to the memorial fund of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Box 138, Borger, Texas 79008-0138.
