Funeral services for Marcine Duncan, age 78 of Denver City, Texas will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Seminole with Pastor Tony Pitcox officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Duncan was born in Seagraves, Texas on July 19, 1942 to Sybil (Vick) and Obie Lee Walters. She married Delsie Duncan in Loop, Texas on May 7, 1965. She was a co-founder and a member of God's Way Country Church and ran My Little Store in White Rock, Texas for 17 years. She loved sitting by the fire pit at David and Shelley's as well as family gatherings. Her grandchildren were her world.
Marcine Duncan passed away Sunday April 11, 2021 at her home. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Delsie Duncan in 2016; one brother, Ray Walters and one grandson, Billy Dean Sutton. She is survived by two sons, Dennis Duncan and wife Laura of Evansville, Wyoming and David Duncan and wife Shelley of Seminole, Texas, two daughters, Dixie Pitcox and husband Tony of Seminole, Texas and Della Sutton and husband Bill of Whiteface, Texas; two brothers, Calwyn Walters and wife Ellen of Ovalo, Texas and Joe Walters and wife Kay of Lubbock, Texas; one sister, Glenda Bagwell and her late husband, Leon Bagwell of Loop, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Patsy Walters and her late husband, Ray Walters of Loop, Texas and Betty Jeffcoat of Denver City, Texas; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
