Final rites for Herman F. "Dutch" Betke were held at 3 p.m. today in Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Weldon Lewis officiating. Interment followed in Highland Park cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown, Funeral Director.
Betke, a Borger pioneer, died Saturday morning at North Plains Hospital. He was 67 years old.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Esther Betke; a daughter, Mrs. Joan Posey; one son, Herman Rolf Betke and five grandchildren.
Casketbearers will be John White, Chuck Ray, T.L. Edmonds, M.E. Griffin, Cecil House and John T. White.

Mrs. Esther Betke, 72, of 300 Almond, died Thursday at Northwest Texas Hospital.
Arrangements are pending with Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Betke was born in Fayetteville, Ark., and had lived in Amarillo for 19 years. She was a Baptixst.
Survivors include a son, Herman of Washington, D.C.; a daughter, Mrs. Joan Thomas of the home; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
