K.W. Boylan, 73, Borger resident since 1926 and retired employee of United Carbon Company died at 5 a.m. today at his home, 1202 Hemlock.
A veteran of World War I, Boylan was born Nov. 20, 1890 in Strong City, Kans. He is resting at Ed Brown Chapel of the Fountains, where funeral arrangements are pending.
Surviving are the widow, Jewel; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Ferrell of Borger; a son, Lester, serving with the U.S. Marines, at Paris Island, S.C.; two step-daughters, Mrs. N.D. MacCalister of Lubbock, Mrs. C.C. Woodward of Roswell, N.M.
Also two stepsons, L.D. Mitchell of Texas City, James E. Mitchell of Odessa; a brother, John Boylan of Evanston, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. George Nace of Newton, Kans., Mrs. Mary Tolbert of Strong City Kans.; 19 grandchildren.
