Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Borger for Charles Ervin Brazeal, 38, who was fatally injured Wednesday at Pasco, Wash., in a construction accident. The services will be in charge of the Rev. W.P. Waldrop of Sanford, with the Rev. Paul B. Cullen of Borger assisting.

Mr. Brazeal was formerly an employee of the United Carbon Company and had been a resident of Sanford until he accepted a position with a construction company on the west coast a few months ago.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Brazeal of Sanford; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Gillaspy; three brothers, Frank Brazeal, and Ray Brazeal, all of Borger.

Born at Thayer, Mo., June 18, 1905, Brazeal moved to Sanford in 1935. He served in the U.S. Army for several months during World War II and was advanced to the rating of technical sergeant while at Camp McCallister. In December, 1943, he received an honorable discharge from the army and a short time later accepted employment with a construction company.

Pallbearers at the funeral tomorrow will be Bill Spraggins, Tom Scarbrough, Floyd Kelly, Troyce Carmichael, Hershel Palmer and Jack Stone.

Flower girls will include Mrs. O.E. Griffin, Miss Marjorie Holloway, Miss Hazel Ruth Holloway, Mrs. Gene Lanham, Mrs. R.F. Griffin, Mrs. Pauline Arnold, Mrs. Frank Gillespie, Mrs. Ben Neeley.

Interment will be in Highland Cemetery, with the Powell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
