*Obituary Joseph
Services for Joseph "Catch" G. Brice, 82, of Borger, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Borger Bible Baptist Church with Amos Meador, emeritus pastor at the First Church of Nazarene, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Alexander Funeral Directors.

Pallbearers will be James Haning, Jimmy Jones, Chris Owens, Claude Robinson, Butch Rodgers and Jimmy Rodgers.

He was a Hutchinson County resident for 57 years, moving to Borger from Mexia.

He was a member of the Borger Bible Baptist Church, and a member of the IOOF of Mexia.

He is survived by one son, Jerry Brice of Borger; two daughters, Reta Griffin of Borger, Lorna Claudine Owens of Beaumont; two brothers, Earl Brice of Grosebeck, Texas, Jack Brice of New Iberia, La.; one sister, Gertie Little of Grosebeck; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

BORGER - Funeral services for Mrs. Gertie Mae Brice, 58, were held this afternoon in the Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Moore, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton Mortuary.

Mrs. Brice died Sunday morning in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo. She had lived two years at 916 N. Mirror in Amarillo.

She moved to Borger in 1927.

Survivors include her husband, Joe. G.; a son, Jerry of Borger; daughters, Mrs. Lorna Owens of El Paso and Mrs. Rita Rodgers of Borger; a brother, Jack Baker of Amarillo; sisters, Mrs. Earl Brice and Mrs. Paul Shipley of Pampa and Mrs. Ollie Murphy of Amarillo, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
