Services for Mary Lee Jones Beck, 93, of Odessa was at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 27, 2003 at Mission Dorado Baptist Church in Odessa with the Rev. Bob Bratcher officiating. Burial followed at 3:30 PM at the Ralls Cemetery in Ralls, Texas.
She was born June 7, 1910 in Honey Grove, Texas to Charley Carl and Ollie Jane Reed Jones. She died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.

She married Marvin Monroe Beck on November 11, 1928 in the home of her parents Ollie Jane Jones and J. R. Boyett. Marvin preceded her in death on September 20, 1997. She was baptized in 1933 at the Caprock Baptist Church. She moved from Ralls to Lubbock in 1957 and then to Odessa in 1997. She was a member of the Mission Dorado Baptist Church in Odessa.

She is preceded in death by three brothers: James Carl Jones, Walter Houston Jones, Troy Jones, two sisters I. D. Pauline Jones Sellers, Lillie Bell Jones Ragland, a son Donald Lee Beck, a daughter Ola Fayrene Beck Taylor a grandson Gregory Russell Taylor and a granddaughter Mary Ellen Beck.

Survivors include four grandchildren: Wilma and Mark Lewis of Odessa, John and Rita Taylor of Wink, Janine Lewis of Lubbock, Jennifer Beck of Bethany, Oklahoma, 8 great grandchildren: Jason Lewis, Mindy and Heath Stanley, Gina Lewis, Raquel and Chad Blanchat, Kellie and Lonnie Griffin, Shelby Briscoe, Laura Briscoe, Wesley Briscoe 7 great great grandchildren: Jaycie Lewis, Makayla Stanley, Alexis Blanchat, Austin Blanchaat, Kaylie Griffin, Kaden Griffin, Jayden Zarazua, 2 sister-in-laws: Vivian Houchin of Lubbock, Emma Lee Norwood of Brownwood and numerous nieces and nephews.
