BORGER - Vina Ruth "VanKirk" Vi Buchholz, 64, died Thursday, May 17, 2001.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Highland Park Cemetery with Fred Tracy of Amarillo officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Devotion at Highland Park Cemetery by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Buchholz married W.E. Buchholz on June 30, 1957, in Borger. She was active in Boy Scouts and earned several awards.

Survivors include her husband, W.E. "Harpo" Buchholz of Borger; three sons, Travis Buchholz of Borger, Roger Buchholz of Amarillo and James Buchholz of Tulsa, Okla.; a stepson, Robert Buchholz of North Carolina; a stepdaughter, Lola Zunker of San Antonio; two sisters, Velma Moon of Fritch and June Sanders of Amarillo.
