*Obituary
Vanetta Chambliss, 71, Borger, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 1990, in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
Services are pending with Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
A native of Oil Trough, Ark., she had been a Borger resident for 31 years. She was a retired beautician, member of Bible Baptist Church, Bradford Eastern Star, Bradford, Ark., and the VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include one son, Ruby Chambliss of Borger; two daughters, Laqueta Lanier of Borger; and Joan Bright of Bradford, Ark.; two brothers, Cal Shaw of Borger; and W.R. Shaw of Duncan, Okla.; two sisters, Betty Dawson of Borger; and Joyce McLaughlin of Houston; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
