Services for Millie Gena Wilmeth, 75, of Brownfield will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at the Plains First United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Doyle and Rev. Cameron Givan officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Wilmeth died Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, in Brownfield. She was born on Dec. 29, 1932, to Mancil Clyde and Lola McAbee Jeter in Delta County.

Mrs. Wilmeth attended Ralls High School and graduated from Delmar High School in Lamar Co. She then attended Paris Jr. College.

She married Mack Wilmeth on May 21, 1955 in Sweetwater. He preceded her in death on April 3, 1995. They lived in the Tokio Community from 1955 until moving to Brownfield in 1984. Mrs. Wilmeth served on the Board of Directors for the XYZ Club. She was a member of the Plains First United Methodist Church.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; and step father Dick James.

Mrs. Wilmeth is survived by two sons--Jeter and his wife--Gay of Tokio and Ty and his wife--Mary of Plains.

She is also survived by four grandchildren--Becky, April and Colby Wilmeth of Lubbock and Liz Braquet of Brownwood; one sister--Carolyn Newkirk of Levelland and by numerous additional family and friends.
