Graveside services for Joyce Juanita Britton, 98, of Brownfield will be at 2pm, Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in the Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8pm Monday at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Joyce Britton passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 in Brownfield. She was born August 12, 1914 to Lester and Farrie Abby Curry in Bonham. She attended and graduated from Acuff High School. Joyce met her husband of 67 years, A.V. Britton, at the age of 16 and they married on December 21, 1931 in Portales, NM. He preceded her in death in 1998. She is also preceded in death by a son, Wesley Britton and a great grandson, David Britton.

Joyce is survived by daughter, Barbara Britton of Brownfield; a son, Leslie Britton and wife Dale of Brownfield; a daughter-in-law, Dorthey Britton of Sun City, AZ; two granddaughters, Renae Jourden and husband Tad of Brownfield, Dawndi Phillips and husband Richard of Hailey, ID; two grandsons, Damon Britton and wife Sabrina of Virginia and Shayne Britton and wife Michelle of Venita, OR; a sister, Malva Babel of Grand Junction, AZ; 12 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.

The family request memorials to Brownfield Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund or First Baptist Church Building Fund.
