*Obituary
Funeral services are pending for Thurman S. Chase, 70, at Minton Mortuary. Mr. Chase died at 5:20 p.m. Sunday in North Plains Hospital. He was a resident of Borger 13 years, and made his home with a son, Leon C. Chase, at 802 Home Road.
Other survivors are a son, Arlington Chase of Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Carol Jean Goodrich, Independence, Missouri; sister, Mrs. Gertrude Toppe, North Platt, Neb.; three brothers, Russell of Omaha, Neb., Kenneth and Don of Portland, Oregon; three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
