*Obituary
Mrs. Effie Cosper, 63, wife of A.D. Cosper, resident of Stinnett for the past six years, died in a Borger hospital at 6:45 p.m. Saturday following an illness of several days.
The deceased was born in Mt. Vernon, Ill., but had lived in Texas nearly all her life, having resided at Meridian, Basque [sic] county, Texas prior to moving with her family to stinnett [sic].
Mr. Cosper is an employee at the courthouse in the county seat town.
Besides her husband she is survived by five children: Mrs. Jettie Anderson, Iredell, Texas; Mrs. W.B. Pool, Texhoma plant; Mrs. T.D. Beaver, Sanford; Mrs. L.R. Griffin, Stinnett; and the son, Robert Cosper, Fritch and eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Stinnett Baptist church at 3 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Howard S. Bridges, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park cemetery with Blackburn-Shaw-Brown funeral home directing the final rites.
