E.H. Daniel, 85, 605 Montana, died Tuesday evening at his home.

A retired assistant manager in operations at Phillips Petroleum Company, he was a native of Gainesville, Missouri, and a Borger resident for 61 years.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge 1355 where he was a 32 degree Mason, and a member of the Borger Commandery.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; one son, E.H. Jr. of Edmond, Okla.; one stepson, Jerry Tatum of Denver, Colo. and one step-daughter, Jo McDonald of Borger; one sister, Fay Newton of Beggs, Okla.; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Services are pending with Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.

Mary A. Daniel, 81, died Saturday, May 22, at her home.

Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors. Mrs. Daniel was a native of Bentonville, Ark. and a Borger resident for 46 years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Phillips Garden Club, Borger Book Review Club and Phillips Ceramic Club.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Tatum, in 1956, and her second husband, E.H. Daniel, in 1987.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Tatum of Long Beach, Calif.; one daughter and son-in-law, Jo and R.A. McDonald of Borger; one sister, Irene Pruiett of Wichita, Kan.; five grandchildren, Kathy Francis and Kristy Tatum, both of Denver, Colo., Keli Ortiz of Casper, Wyo., Pam Matthews of Midland, and Alicia Rodriguez of Houston; one step-grandson, Joe McDonald of Plano; 11 great-grandchildren and on great-great-grandchild.

Casket bearers were Brad Francis, Randy Gober, Joe McDonald, Danny Rodriguez, Justin Tatum, R.D. White and Dick Willis.

Memorials may be made to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson, Amarillo, Texas 79101.
