BORGER — Charles M. Darnell, 94, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2011.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Calavary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Hutchinson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Garden in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Darnell was born Jan. 18, 1917, in Haskell to Edward Franklin and Maggie Virginia Darnell. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Gayland Darnell of Borger; two daughters, Mary Virginia Havron of Borger and Cleta Joy Darnell of Borger; seven stepchildren; 19 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Neudy Erle Darnell, 52, of 715 W. Tenth will be at 10 a.m. Thursday from the Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Darnell died at 10:50 p.m. Monday at Groom Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include her husband; one son, four daughters, her parents, two brothers, one sister, and 11 grandchildren.
Casketbearers will be H.D. Rose Jr., C.L. Wampler, J.L. Sibley, V.W. Welch, W.H. Whaley, Jimmy Sibley.
