Tommy Day, 82, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018.

Graveside service will be held at 3 pm Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Tommy was born March 26, 1928 in Prairie Hill, Texas to Thomas and Frankie Day. He married the love of his life, Darlene, on June 5, 1948. Tommy enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing the Oklahoma lakes and Jims Lake in Skellytown. He could grow an amazing vegetable garden. Tommy loved his family especially his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Darlene; son, Jerry Day.

Survivors include his sons, Johnnie Day and his wife, Gloria of Seguin, Jimmy Day of Borger; daughter, Tonya Burkhammer of Fritch; eight grandchildren, Whitney Dionizio and husband James, Morgan Gattilia and husband Morgan, Tyler, Crissee, Jennifer, Lindsey, Jarett Burkhammer and wife Brittany, Darcy Wood and husband Josh; and seven great grandchildren, Jackson, Sadie, Guinevere, Brandon, Brooklyn, Bishop and Emberly; and one great grandchild on the way, due to arrive in October.

Darlene "Patsy" Day, 82, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014.

Graveside service will be held at 11 am Friday, March 21, 2014 at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Patsy was born August 13, 1931 in Amarillo. She married the love of her life, Thomas Day, on June 4, 1948. Patsy attended Bible Baptist Church and was a member of the Elks Lodge where she loved playing cards, especially 31. She enjoyed going to casinos. Sunday dinners were considered mandatory and were always held at Grandmas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Belle Brock ; son, Jerry Day; and a sister, Lucille Vanloon.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas of the home; sons, Johnnie Day and his wife, Gloria of Lockhart, Jimmy Day of Borger; daughter, Tonya Burkhammer and her husband, Ronnie of Fritch; eight grandchildren, Whitney, Morgan, Tyler, Crissee, Jennifer, Lindsey, Jarett, Darcy; and five great grandchildren, Jackson, Sadie, Guinevere, Brandon and Brooklyn.
