Albert R. Deaver, 86, of 219 Stewart in Stinnett, died Friday in Amarillo.
A heavy equipment operator, he was a native of Madge, Okla., and a Hutchinson County resident for 60 years.
He was an army veteran of World War I and a member of Stinnett Church of Christ, and the Operating Engineers Union.
He is survived by his wife, Genevieve of the home; two daughters, Mary Brown and Margie Newcomb, both of Borger; two sisters, Bell Capps of Lovington, N.M.,and Polly Hunsaker of Portales, N.M.; one brother, Clarence Deaver of Littlefield; four grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 1986, at the Stinnett Church of Christ with Pete Hanks, minister, officiating.
Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of the Alexander Funeral Directors of Stinnett.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Belle Deavers [sic], 106 Veta Street, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Church of Christ, Second and Deahl, with Mr. Dean Bullock officiating.
Mrs. Deavers [sic], 50, a resident of this community for 15 years, died early Wednesday evening at North Plains hospital. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, A.R. Deavers [sic]; a son, Thomas Deavers [sic] of Hobbs, N.M.; two daughters, Mrs. Margie Coleman of Quebec, Canada and Mrs. Mary Brown of Borger.
Interment will be in the local cemetery.
