Gladys Elizabeth Dickey, 98, died Saturday, March 23, 2002, in Borger.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Terry Porter, pastor and Rev. Matt Adams, pastor of Faith Covenant Church, both officiating. Interment will be at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Dickey was born on Nov. 1, 1903, in Eyre, Neb. She had been a Borger resident since 1945. She was a cook for restaurants and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett W. Dickey in 1969, a son, Paul Dickey in 1965 and two brothers, Alfred Harbert in 1989 and Myron Harbert in 1996.

Survivors include a son, Hugh and Margaret Dickey of Borger; brother, Lucien Harbert of Medford, Ore.; grandson, Kirk and Dot Dickey of Nederland; two great-granddaughters, Leslie and Lindsey Dickey of Nederland and many nieces and nephews.
