Borger News Herald - January 16, 1976
Mrs. Gladys Dulaney, 53, of 1306 Hazelwood was pronounced dead on arrival at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at North Plains Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Gateway Baptist Church with the Rev. William Hobson, pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home of Borger.
Mrs. Dulaney was born Dec. 19, 1922 in Wisner, La. and came to Borger in 1941. She was a member of the Gateway Baptist Church.
She and her husband owned and operated Bruce and Sons Transfer and Storage until he died in 1972. She continued to operate the business until last January.
Survivors include a son, Glenn of Houston; two daughters, Sandra Dulaney and Mrs. Gena Guest, both of Borger, her mother, Mrs. Bessie Wallace of Wisner, La.; two brothers, Bill Wallace of Gainesville and Sam Wallace of Pollock, La; a sister, Mrs. Mae Lewis of Canyon; and three grandchildren.
