Mrs. O.J. Ferrell, 46, of 907 W. Jackson, a long-time resident of this area, passed away yesterday at 11:40 a.m. in the Groom Hospital in Groom, Texas, after a brief illness.

Survivors include one daughter, Audrey Lee Ferrell, of Borger; four sons, Clifford, Wilbur, Otdis [sic] and Oscar, Jr., all of Borger; her mother, Mrs. Lena Phares, of Borger; one sister, Mrs. E.T. Collins, Albuquerque. Five brothers, Henry Phares, Pittsburg, California; ivey Phares, Beaumonth; Roy, Earnest and Leland Phares, all of Borger, and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Minton Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Amos R. Meador, pastor of the Church of Nazarene, officiating. Interment will be in the Highland Park cemetery, under the direction of Minton Funeral Home.
